WORK: Videography, photography of the anti-fascist/anarchist march organized by Occupy in resistance to the newly elected Trump for a documentary on Standing Rock, running from sound grenades, avoiding tear gas, arrest and rubber bullets.
Going from desolate plains of Standing Rock, ND to D.C. to film the inauguration of President Trump in less than a week was a change of scenery to say the least. I had the incredible opportunity to film for a documentary following the water protectors to D.C. and was put in charge of filming the anti-fascist/anarchists' parade demonstrating against the newly elected president. Cars were set on fire. Mass arrests ensued. Public spaces were filled with smoke and angst. This all just one day before I filmed the largest gathering on Washington to date, The Women's March.
